Beginnings

Nathan Hunnicutt

Nathan Hunnicutt founded the Tennessee Music Awards and the first event occurred in 2017. He has lived in each part of Tennessee, including Jackson (West), Nashville (Middle), and Johnson City (East). Hunnicutt attended Freed-Hardeman University, earned an MBA from Harding University, and attended East Tennessee State University. He directly selects artists for private American Idol auditions, is the President of Arkansas Country Music Awards, Inc., and the Executive Director of the Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce. He and is wife Tiffany have seven home-schooled children.
