The date and location for the 2023 event will be posted here in January.
Inspired by our rich and diverse music presence, the Tennessee Music Awards program honors independent artists and industry professionals of all major music genres, statewide. The program is focused on all major genres, providing a platform for artists, producers, venues, radio stations, publications, and more.
The annual event has been held at the University of Memphis Lambuth's Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music in Jackson, Tennessee since our inception (in 2023, we may have some big news for another location). Learn more about this great institution here.
DJ Keith Sherley says, “The Tennessee Music Awards is all about preserving the legacy and promoting the future of Roots, Delta, Tennessee music. It is an honor to be coming back for my third year and to be part of a great show.”
